Blogging to the Bank 3.0

Blogging has been around for a few years now. Most people use blogs to record their thoughts and lives, while the select few use them as a free way to make a fortune.
One guy who uses this to his advantage is Rob Benwell. In 2006 he dished the dirt on the tips and tricks to making a fortune using blogging. But as time passes the old systems become obsolete and new techniques are required. This is where his brand new, fresh off the press Blogging to the Bank 3.0 system comes into play.
For those who know who Rob Benwell is like me, you’ve probably made a killing using blogs.
For those who don’t, here’s the story:
Back in 2005 he was struggling to make any profit online, had dropped out of college and was getting deep into debt. He was trying all the techniques the gurus tell you and wasn’t getting anywhere fast. All of that went in the bin and he started using his own techniques and started making more and more money using simple blogs. In early 2006 he shared this with the world and had a great ebook called blogging to the bank.
Tons of people got rich from using these techniques (including me). He then spoke at Online Marketing Legend Yanik Silver’s underground Seminar where he revealed even more of his underground strategies. Then July 2007 he released Blogging to the Bank 2.0 which showed users his new methods to creating online wealth using blogs. In total both versions have been read by over 50,000 people across the world.
But as I said earlier, the techniques used in these ebooks are now showing there age. Some of them are not even working in the slightest! This is where blogging to the bank 3.0 comes into play.
It’s full of great new techniques that work online right now! Everything’s explained in plain English with all the fluff cut out. I got hold of an advanced copy of the book for a much higher price than what it actually sells for and it has been worth every single cent! I got it in the afternoon and by the evening I was creating new profitable blogs. Within a couple of hours of them being active I had made a nice little profit.
Blogging To The Bank 3.0 teaches you Robs new step by step blueprint to creating highly profitable long term niche blogs using the newest optimization techniques. There’s even a section on advanced Search Engine Optimization. Most people think SEO is difficult but Rob explains this nice and simply so even the blogging newbie will understand it.
Blogging To The Bank 3.0 is a breath of fresh air and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to make easy money online.

Become an All-You-Can-Eat Buffet for Search Engines

Everyone wants top 10 rankings as though just because they wished it that should make it so. Wishing has nothing to do with rankings. Unless you have a genie in a bottle, we all know it simply just doesn’t work that way.
How about I get you thinking differently about this issue?
Don’t Chase Search Engines — Let Them Chase You!
How is that possible?
Become a Search Engine All-You-Can-Eat Buffet!!
I can hear you out there… “Yeah, sure!” Well, it’s not that difficult of a methodology really. All you have to do is think differently than all the hype, amateur Web designers and unscrupulous marketing “gurus” have led you to believe about how getting found works.
First off, what search engines like is fresh content and lots of it; yummy! That’s the fuel for their fire so to speak. So it goes without saying that if you keep adding new content on a regular basis that will encourage search engines to visit your site because you’ll have a fresh buffet of tempting entrées.
How do search engines know you have new content? Certainly not by osmosis!
If you make the effort in the appropriate areas, much of which the costs are minimal, they’ll get a whiff of the appetizing content you have to offer and act like they are at an all-you-can-eat buffet!! Your site will be like Mama’s house on a Sunday afternoon! You know what I mean; dinner smells so good everyone in the house can’t wait to get a plateful! That’s how it goes with search engines and content.
If you don’t have savory content, why should search engines visit you and give you higher rankings over those who serve up a delicious all-you-can-eat Sunday dinner? The answer is they don’t.
The “build it and they will come” way of thinking does not apply to Web sites in this day and age, so everyone needs to wash that concept right out of their hair. All it takes is for you to be prepared to mix, cook and serve. Mix up a new article, cook it to perfection and serve it to the hungry search engines!
That’s not too much to ask to succeed online is it? If it is, well, maybe you should reconsider your online endeavors. If you don’t want to make these efforts, just forget about achieving any decent no charge organic/natural listings. It may be time for you to get involved in PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising.
Now let’s setup your buffet! Start a blog that you post to continually and submit it to all the feed directories. Make sure your blog offers a subscribe feature so visitors get notified by e-mail when you enter a new post. Also offer RSS and podcasting feeds of your blog posts so that visitors can get your information in as many flavors as they choose. See? Your mouthwatering buffet is growing!
Onliners visit your blog and then follow the links to the scrumptious new articles on your site. They like your articles and link to them or post them on their site with a link to yours. Incoming links to your site; lip smacking good!
You also offer an RSS feed of your top articles to get the word out. You add your new articles to your site map. Google checks for your site map XML file and updates its index with your freshly baked content. You add your seasoned articles to quality article banks — more delectable links to your site! Can you see what is happening? We are creating a feeding frenzy!
This interactive medium called the Web is now more interactive than ever. At first when it all began, “interactive” meant some flashing this or moving that. Now interactive means just that; you need to interact and be involved by creating a buffet of your own or you’ll be left in the dumpster by those who do.
One thing is sure; chasing search engine algorithms is a futile effort at best. But when you have the nourishment they want, tasty content, search engines are hungry little bots and it’s hard to keep them away. Food for thought? You bet! Open your own buffet today and feed the beast!
Why Not to Blog Checklist

I am always encouraging folks to Blog. Whether for business or pleasure, Blogs are a great way to share your expertise, opinions and life experiences. And they are a great marketing tool when done correctly. From my point of view there is no down-side to having a Blog.
All but one… time. To write good stuff, interesting stuff, stuff that is desired and read; takes allot of time. I have 3 Blogs now and they are simply taking up too much of my time — time I really need to spend on other aspects of my growing business.
So I went into my “wayback” machine to a post I found interesting from last year and reviewed it as it related to my current activities…
Should I Stop Blogging? 20 Questions to Ask Yourself
What I like about this post is that in asking if you should stop blogging, the author has actually given you an excellent list of reasons to Blog — and to help you create a valuable Blog that you enjoy posting to and that will have visitors want to come back for more.
So if you are Blogging and not getting the results that you would like or just starting a Blog — maybe follow the link above, read the article and the comments (some great stuff there too) and maybe you can get your Blog cooking!
At the end of the day, good Blogs have authors who take the time to create info packed posts written with a passion for you to read. They share their resources and knowledge freely without any expectation of payback and that my friends, does takes time.
In the case of my time dilemma, I will now only be posting on Tuesdays and Thursdays on all three of my Blogs. Hopefully cutting back on a day or two, from my usual 3-4 times each week, can help me make ends meet when it comes to my time budget.
How to Create a Blog

While Blogging is something many folks are doing and many more would like to do, for those just investigating starting a Blog, where do you start? How do you create a Blog?
Based on the number of inquiries I get every day asking that very question it is clear that inquiring minds want to know!
Many hosting companies offer Blog features or installation of WordPress in their control panels for those not into FTP and configuration details. There are a plethora of blogging platforms and tools out there for you to use. Which you use depends on what type of Blog you want to create. One for business or just for fun or a hobby?
Blogging is popular because all the Blog owner really has to do is type. The platforms and applications for Blogging, once in place are pretty much on auto pilot leaving the Blogger to only have to worry about what they want to write about.
Here are some considerations and links to resources here on my site and elsewhere in regard to how to create a Blog:
- If you already have a Web site, you can easily add a Blog by installing WordPress on your established server. Or check your hosts control panel for a WordPress installation tool.
- If Blogging for fun, you can setup a free blog @ Google’s Blogger.com or WordPress.com. While these services are not as flexible (you get what you pay for) if you want to Blog purely for hobby (non-commercial) reasons, and don’t want anything too fancy, either of these services will do.
- If for Blogging for business, you need to get your own hosting server (about $5-10 a month) so you can have your own domain and use your domain e-mail address. Free services won’t do in this case. Plus most themes are now oriented to being an entire Web site that includes a Blog. So you can manage your entire site and Blog at the same time.
The basics on how to create a Blog:
- WordPress Themes: There are a ton of free theme archives out there but you have to be careful because free themes generally include not only the author’s link in the footer, but links to sometimes questionable sites and affiliate programs as well.
I have no problem linking to the developer who offers free themes however including additional promo links that many times are encrypted and cannot be removed, is going a bit to far.
So with that said here are links to the themes I prefer to start my search at:
- WordPress Support:
My resources:
Once you have WordPress installed it is just a matter of tweaking what you want to change and then start dancing at the keyboard!
Have Fun!
Why Blog? Why WordPress?

Instead of asking “Why Blog?” How about coming up with reasons not to? Then, I am sure you will find that the answers are not the reasons you would hear from successful competitive business owners.
Why WordPress? The two main reasons is clients can then update or add to their sites themselves. Something I’ve been asked for the ability to do since I started this business 15 years ago.
There a bunch of answers to both of the above questions! I’ll share those with you today that come to me off the top of my head…
Design, Maintenance and Feature Integration:
- Customizing a theme is as simple as integrating your logo or header graphic.
- Easy integration of Flash Slide Shows (that are very expensive to have developed and integrated into a static HTML site) without you having to learn Flash.
- Customizing the color scheme or fonts are simple too.
- Adding subscribe chicklets and feed links so visitors can easily add you to their list.
- Add the option for site visitors to be notified of new posts by e-mail.
- Create logical categories and subcategories to keep your site/Blog organized.
- Add or modify content by logging in and typing away — no code required!
- Easily add videos to your site/Blog.
- Include your promos or AdSense in the sidebar of every page.
- Reflect number of readers or sites linking to your site for site visitors to view.
- Add Captcha to minimize form and comment spam.
- Integrate Social Networking widget(s) so your post can be easily exposed to popular networks.
- Integrate Google Site Map creation.
- Integrate additional SEO tools to enhance your posts with search engines.
- The list goes on… There are literally hundreds of WordPress Plugins for us to integrate into your Blog!
Benefits of having a Blog?
- Post daily tips and information to your customers.
- Use your Blog as a product or service update center where customers know to check in for status.
- Share your expertise and become a hub for useful posts on your product/service/market.
- Search Engines love Blogs because the content is fresh and constantly updated!
- Bunches of directories catering to Blogs only! And, once you post, you can “Ping” the directories to reflect you just added new content!
- You can have a subscribe option so that interested visitors can get notified when you post.
- Use Revenue Ads to get residual income from PPC targeted advertisers.
- Offer RSS feeds and Podcast feeds of your postings.
- Easily add links to your Web site’s important information and other sites of value.
- Interactive nature allows visitors to post comments on each post. Great way to get feedback on what your next move should be!
- No coding knowledge required. If anything only simple HTML is all you will need. Get an HTML Cheat Sheet to have on hand!
- Themes are available to cater to your business personality and culture.
I have had and worked on Blogs on numerous platforms; Blogger, TypePad, and WordPress. By far the platform I have found the easiest, most intuitive, user friendly and most versatile for my clients is WordPress.
Check out my E-mail Etiquette and Business E-mail Etiquette Blogs using WordPress. As a matter of fact, I like WordPress so much that 3 years ago I converted this entire to WordPress!
So Why Blog? Why WordPress? Why Not!?
